resistance heater that produces the watts-per-foot of heat along its entire length with exposure temperatures to 400 F.
Mineral Insulated Heater Cable
is a high temperature heater cable with a special, thin metal sheath. Mineral Insulated Heater Cable can withstand temperatures up to 1100 F. With special components, exposure temperature can be increased to 1400 F. This type cable has heat output ratings up to 10 times higher than most other cables, reducing the amount of cable required.
